The Elo TouchSystems IDS (Interactive Digital Signage) touch platform enables increased customer engagement and real-time metrics for OOH (out-of-home) environments by adding an exciting new dimension to traditional broadcast digital signage – the power of touch. The IDS solution incorporates three high-performance optional Computer Modules, ECM1, ECM2 and ECM3, that are designed specifically for the Elo Interactive Display Signage (IDS) touch displays and offer maximum flexibility in delivering high quality digital signage functionality to increase customer engagement in OOH environments. The Computer Modules pair with the Elo IDS touch displays to form a professional platform that delivers a range of performance options in a sleek and stylish package. The Computer Modules, are easily installed into the IDS displays providing an integrated system that optimizes media bandwidth and interactivity for the delivery of highly engaging and measurable consumer content. The optional Computer Modules come in three configurations providing a wide range of touch computing needs with a choice of Intel® processors. The ECM1, ECM2 and ECM3 provide a high standard of quality for customer registration stations and check-in points as well as interactive digital signage applications. For average computing needs, the ECM1 comes with the Intel Celeron™ Dual-Core 2.2GHz processor. For high performance computing needs, ECM2 is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz processor and ECM3 is powered by Intel Core i5 2.5GHz processor

The system is interoperable with content management servers and Web-based consoles for seamless connection with the Internet and applications such as multimedia sharing and electronic point-of-sale. The Computer Modules can support optimal partitioning of locally cached and network stored content, allowing developers to monitor and deploy content via device-to-device or Web connections. Separately, a USB kit is available to enable wireless connectivity to your signage network.

The 1517L touchmonitor is built to withstand the rigors of continuous public use with a rugged "built for touch" design. Its stylish, thin and modern look is coupled with a retail-focused feature set and is an attractive solution for commercial touchmonitor needs. It is well suited for high use public venues where point-of-sale, point-of-information, point-of-service, shelf-level and countertop interactive digital signage and loyalty systems are found.

The 1517L is offered with AccuTouch five-wire resistive, IntelliTouch or iTouch zero-bezel surface acoustic wave technology. AccuTouch is widely used in retail and hospitality environments based on its proven ability to survive splashing liquids, food and grease. IntelliTouch and iTouch pure glass surface acoustic wave technology delivers the ultimate in optical quality for dry retail and hospitality applications.

The optional 3-track magnetic stripe reader (MSR), programmable to either HID or Keyboard Emulation, is easily installed by the user, providing an elegant, integrated solution and eliminating the need for external brackets or attachments.

The Elo 2094L 19.5-inch open-frame LCD touchscreen features a slim design and narrow outside dimensions due to the state-of-the-art, energy-saving LED backlight, using less electricity to operate and generating less heat. This compact display is designed for touch, with proven Elo expertise and reliability built in. The 2094L provides stable, drift-free operation with outstanding image clarity and light transmission—for accurate touch responses and vivid images. Projected capacitive (PCAP) units can be sealed into a solution and obtain an IP65 rating on the front side of the unit. With the design and tooling being controlled by Elo, long-lasting product availability can be expected as well as backwards compatibility where we can make it possible to help minimize additional enclosure costs.
