Multitask with the WD2 Wearable Scanner. With its comfortable hand strap, the WD2 ensures no wasted time on putting away a device while picking or moving boxes. The scanning trigger can be easily activated with a light press of the thumb. The strap, available in two sizes, is designed to fit both the left and right hand and can be worn over gloves in colder operating temperatures.
Gearup with the WD2
With its embedded Acuscan technology, the WD2 catches distorted or closely placed barcodes, minimizing errors and improving productivity. Its compact size and lightweight design reduce fatigue for users. The WD2 also comes with a compact 2-bay charging cradle which can be connected to form up to a 10-bay multi-docking station charged via a single PSU.
Outstanding Performance
Equipped with Newlands 2D Megapixel scanning technology, the WD2 can effortlessly capture high-density, high volume and distorted barcodes printed on a wide range of materials. The mid-range version can capture codes from further away than normal and scan a wide variety of barcodes that standard range scanners may struggle with.
Taking careful aim
The Standard range uses a red aiming crosshair design that enables the use of Acuscan for precision scanning on smaller codes. Even when codes are grouped close together, Acuscan enables workers to set their sights with confidence for picking the exact item they need. The mid-range version uses a single red dot that can be seen from a greater distance for pin-pointing larger, isolated codes.
Daisy Chain charging
The WD2 has a compact two-bay charging station powered via a USB-C cable or a multi-region PSU. The cradle has fixing points for mounting, and the quick click docking magnets keep the WD2 securely in place even if mounted vertically. The cradles can be linked together to create a 4, 6, 8 or 10 bay multi dock cradle, optimized to 100% charging efficiently via a single PSU.
Hands-free working
The WD2 connects to an Electronic Hand Strap with an integrated scan trigger comfortably positioned between thumb and forefinger. It is available for both right- and left-handed operators and comes in two sizes to cater to small/medium and large hands. The large strap will also fit over thicker gloves for cold or heavy-duty applications. The scanner will stay secure with a quick click docking magnet and additional securing strap until the operator wants to remove it. The ergonomics and lightweight make it perfect for long-sustained scanning applications where “two hands are better than one.”
Stable wireless communication
The WD2 uses a strong anti-interference Bluetooth 5.0 technology. When used with the WD1 Android wrist-mounted solution, the WD2 can be directly paired by scanning an onscreen 2D barcode.
Hand mounted BT 5.0 with Mid Range 2D scanner. Laser dot aiming
